Bayou Bloodfest Horror Expo, a Fan Driven Two-Day Horror Convention, will host its inaugural event in Lafayette, Louisiana, on November 21st and 22nd, 2026.
LAFAYETTE, LA – Get ready, Louisiana horror fans, as Lafayette prepares to welcome the inaugural Bayou Bloodfest, a new, exciting two-day horror convention dedicated to all things that make the horror genre special. The event is scheduled to take place at the Doubletree by Hilton on Saturday, November 21, and Sunday, November 22, 2026.
Bayou Bloodfest promises a chilling weekend immersing attendees into the heart of the genre, right in the spooky setting of South Louisiana. The convention will feature a carefully curated selection of vendors specializing in macabre memorabilia, authors specializing in horror, interactive celebrity panels, after parties to keep the celebration going after hours, as well as autograph and photo opportunities with a lineup of guest speakers and celebrities from some of your favorite horror movies.

"For years fans have been asking me to bring a horror convention to Louisiana. Our goal is to create an unforgettable weekend where fans can indulge their passions, connect with other horror fans, and celebrate the genre we all love. We want to give Louisiana fans the horror convention that this area, so rich in culture and history, deserves."
The convention is expected to announce the full lineup of guests, venue details, ticket information, and a schedule of frightening events in the coming months.
